✦ OUR STORY

Better care starts with indepedence.

Better care starts with indepedence.

Allied Independent Providers was built on a simple belief: patients deserve easier access to personal, local healthcare — and independent providers deserve the scale and visibility to deliver it.

THE PROBLEM

Independent doesn’t mean invisible

Independent doesn’t mean invisible

Independent healthcare practices often deliver exactly what patients say they want: familiar providers, easier scheduling, shorter waits, convenient locations, and care that feels personal.

But delivering great care and being easy to find are two different things.

Hospital systems and large corporate groups have enormous advantages in marketing, technology, referral networks, payer relationships, and brand recognition. Independent practices are left competing one location at a time — often against organizations spending millions to capture the same patients.

The gap isn’t quality. It’s visibility, access, and scale.

A great independent practice shouldn't lose a patient simply because it's harder to find, harder to identify as independent, or harder for an employer, health plan, or referral partner to connect with.

What We're Building

More than a directory. A network built to make independents stronger.

More than a directory. A network built to make independents stronger.

AIP is being built to give independent practices advantages that are difficult to create alone — combining their collective reach while preserving what makes each practice independent.

As the network grows, so will the opportunities available to its members.

WHO’S BEHIND IT

Meet the founders

Dane Manning

Co-Founder — Marketing & Operations

Dane spent the past two decades in enterprise-level digital marketing, helping businesses of all sizes build visibility and drive real performance.

He's bringing that experience to independent providers — building the infrastructure that gives locally-owned practices the same reach and credibility as the systems they compete with, so they can focus on what they do best and patients can find them with confidence.

Born and raised in Greater Cleveland, Dane has watched the region's major hospital systems dominate healthcare here for years. He lives in the area today with his wife and two children, and started AIP wanting his own family — and his neighbors' — to have real independent options, not just the big-system default.

Bill Bedford

Co-Founder — Healthcare & Partnerships

Bill brings over a decade of private-practice experience as a physical therapy and wellness clinic founder. He holds both a B.A. in Economics and Finance and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Through his experience as a practitioner and clinic founder, he's seen firsthand the challenges and dedication it takes to be a private-practice healthcare provider — and understands the benefits independent practitioners provide to patients and to the healthcare system.

His mission is to build an organization that can reach and help more people than any single therapy session ever could, combining his own education and experience with Dane's to improve healthcare by supporting private practitioners and helping patients find the care they deserve.

The number of independent healthcare providers has shrunk significantly over the past decade, even as the cost of healthcare has climbed. Independent providers need each other. Working together while keeping their independence isn't a zero-sum scenario — together, independent providers can be bigger than one.
